We all have foods we could happily eat every day.

But when your diet becomes very repetitive, you may miss out on the incredible variety of nutrients found across different foods.

Try thinking about variety across the week, rather than trying to make every single meal perfect.

Different vegetables.
Different fruits.
Different grains.
Different sources of protein.
Different herbs and spices.

Your plate doesn't need to look like a rainbow every day.

Just keep giving your body a variety of foods to work with.

A little more variety can go a long way.

You've probably heard this statement your whole life.

But the truth is, there's no single breakfast routine that works perfectly for everyone.

Some people wake up hungry.
Others aren't interested in food first thing.
Some feel fantastic after a substantial breakfast, while others prefer eating later.

What matters is looking at the whole picture your nutritional needs, energy, lifestyle, activity, appetite and health goals.

Rather than following rules simply because you've always heard them, ask:

“What works well for MY body?”

Nutrition doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all.

There's something about the change of season that makes us want to clean out the cupboards, open the windows and start fresh.

But perhaps there's another kind of spring cleaning worth doing.

Take a moment to check in with your health.

How's your digestion?
How's your energy?
How are you coping with stress?
Are you sleeping well?
Have your usual routines slipped?

You don't need to wait until something is seriously wrong before paying attention to your health.

Sometimes a simple check-in can be the beginning of a much bigger change.

What would you most like to improve this spring? 🌱

Let's talk about selenium.

Selenium is involved in antioxidant protection and supports normal thyroid and immune function.

You can find it naturally in foods such as:

🌰 Brazil nuts
🐟 Fish and seafood
🥚 Eggs
🍗 Meat and poultry
🌾 Whole grains

More isn't necessarily better when it comes to nutrients, though. Selenium is needed in relatively small amounts.

It's another great reminder that nutrition is about balance not mega-doses of everything.

Getting some natural morning light is one of those simple habits that costs nothing but can be surprisingly valuable.

Morning light helps give your body a clear signal that the day has started and supports your natural body clock.

Open the curtains. Have your breakfast near a window. Better still, step outside for a few minutes.

You don't need to turn it into another wellness challenge.

Just let a little more daylight into your morning.

Sometimes the simplest habits are the easiest ones to keep.

You might be eating enough food… but are you getting enough protein?

Protein isn't just something for gym-goers.

We need it for muscles, tissues, enzymes, hormones, immune function and everyday repair.

As we get older, maintaining muscle becomes particularly important.

Try looking at your meals and asking:

“Where is my protein?”

Eggs, fish, chicken, yoghurt, tofu, legumes, nuts and seeds can all contribute.

It doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's simply about becoming more intentional with what's already on your plate.

A little Friday reminder of why I love what I do. 💚

I was so touched reading this beautiful Google review from one of my clients.

After carrying extra weight for many years, she decided it was time to do something different. Over 8 months, she lost 12 kilos, along with centimetres from her waist and hips.

But what really stood out to me wasn't just the weight loss.

She talked about feeling healthier, having better eating habits, easing her arthritis pain, and improving the quality of her life.

And then she said:

“This has been the best thing I've done in years.”

This is why I believe health is about so much more than a number on the scales. It's about helping you feel better in your body, understand what it needs, and create habits you can actually live with.

Thank you so much to my lovely client for taking the time to share her experience. It means more than you know.

If you're feeling like it's time to make a change, I'd love to support you too.

Dryness, breakouts, redness or changes in your skin can be frustrating, especially when you're doing all the “right” things.

But skin health isn't only about what you put on your face.

Your skin can be influenced by nutrition, digestion, hormones, stress, sleep and your overall health.

That doesn't mean every skin concern has one simple cause. It means it's worth looking at the bigger picture rather than constantly chasing the next cream or product.

Your skin is part of you not separate from the rest of your body.

Life will always have birthdays, holidays, busy weeks and unexpected challenges.

What matters most is what you do consistently—not occasionally.

Every healthy meal.
Every walk.
Every early night.
Every glass of water.

These small actions build a healthier future, one day at a time.

Be kind to yourself, celebrate the little wins, and remember that progress is always worth acknowledging.

What's one healthy habit you're proud of this month?
