Thrive Physio was so honoured to help sponsor this team of women back in March this year!

We took out the women’s competition, and it was one of those weekends that reminds you exactly why you do what you do.

As a physio I’m obsessed with helping women perform better, recover smarter, and stop just surviving their bodies and actually thrive in them. But I’m also an athlete who gets it firsthand — the soreness, the mental load, the juggle of competing when life doesn’t slow down.

And thisis exactly why Thrive exists. To keep women like us competing, recovering well, and doing the things we love for as long as possible. Because women’s sport deserves proper support: on the sideline AND on the field.

It’s not bad luck. It’s not just ‘getting older.’ And it’s definitely not permanent.

Pain returns when the cause hasn’t been addressed. Most people treat the symptom i.e. not the system.

So the pain eases >> then the load increases >> then it’s back…

What you need is someone to actually work out why, and then fix that!

Most runners aren’t actually underdoing it… they’re just missing the pieces that keep them durable

Running alone doesn’t build enough strength
Pushing volume too quickly overloads your body
And resting without a plan just resets the cycle

Rest can be helpful.But rest forever? Different story.
