Today we're ooving! The oov is a what we refer to as a foam roller on steroids! Ergonomically shaped, it supports the spine in neutral position whilst challenging core stability. It is an amazing tool to help identify strengths and weaknesses in core engagement, and also an amazing way to support diaphraghmatic breathing taking the body away from the 'flight or fight' mode and draw your system back to a relaxed parasympathtic state. With every exercise you're not only gaining strength in the physical sense of the word, but also strength in your thinking. Each time you reach a little further, roll up a little easier, hold your front support a second longer your brain registers a positive thought pattern. When you view what you can do with positivity you are recognising how strong you are. If you stop and think, you'll understand where you've come from and will also see how strong you're becoming. Pilates for the win! 💛💙

Thankyou Debbie from for the most uplifting and inspiring weekend of Pilates exploration. I was both surprised and grateful to be guided through the connection between Pilates and Aerial work. Not only does the hammock show your strengths but it certainly highlights your weaknesses and imbalances as well. I've no idea where this will take me professionally or personally but I'm more than ready to sit back and take the ride. 💛💙
