As a therapist, I wish more women knew this...
Your children donât need a mother who never struggles.
They need to see a woman who keeps choosing herself, even when itâs hard.
A woman who tries.
A woman who gets things wrong.
A woman who feels fear, disappointment, and self-doubt... and keeps going anyway.
So many women believe they have to sacrifice themselves to be a good mother, partner, or caregiver.
But what children learn most isnât from what we tell them. Itâs from what they witness.
They watch how you speak to yourself.
How you handle setbacks.
How you rebuild after life knocks you down.
And one of the greatest gifts you can give them is showing them that your dreams, wellbeing, and growth matter too.
Because raising resilient children starts with letting them see a resilient woman.
â¤ď¸ Save this if you needed the reminder today.
If youâre a woman learning to stop abandoning yourself while caring for everyone else, follow along.
I share real conversations about healing, burnout, boundaries, motherhood, nervous system regulation, and becoming the woman you were always meant to be.
