New places can feel a bit scary for some children (and grown ups!)

Would seeing what a clinic looks like before you arrive help make that first visit a little easier?

I’ve created a Welcome Book for new families, with photos the waiting area, play room and therapy room, plus simple info about what to expect.

The idea is to help children feel more familiar and less worried before they even walk in.

There might be a niggling feeling, or a comment from a teacher that lives in the back of your mind, or something you can’t quite put your finger on

The truth is you don’t have to wait until you’re certain. A conversation with a speech therapist can give you guidance, gives you the chance to ask questions and work out what the next steps are

No referral is needed to get started 💛

Did you know Variety club Nsw ACT offer $2000 grants to use for therapy for children aged 0-18
These grants help children access much needed therapy (speech therapy, occupational therapy etc) when they don’t qualify for other funding supports such as NDIS
