✨ Feeling grateful today ✨

I had the privilege of holding space for two beautiful Reiki clients today. Every session is unique, and I’m always honoured to be trusted to support someone on their healing journey. 💜

Afterwards, I looked up and was greeted by a beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky. 🌈 It felt like a gentle reminder from the universe that even after the rain, there is beauty, hope, and magic waiting to be seen.

Sometimes it’s the little signs that arrive at exactly the right time. ✨

✨ How Might You Feel After a Reiki Session? ✨

Every person experiences Reiki differently, and no two sessions are exactly the same. 💜

Some people leave a session feeling:
🌿 Deeply relaxed and calm
🌿 Lighter, as though a weight has been lifted
🌿 More grounded and present
🌿 Clearer in their thoughts and decision-making
🌿 More connected to themselves

Others may experience:
✨ Emotional release
✨ Vivid dreams
✨ Increased awareness of thoughts, feelings, or patterns
✨ A need for extra rest and self-care
✨ Temporary fatigue as the body processes and integrates the session

Sometimes the changes are immediate, and sometimes they’re subtle and unfold over the days that follow.

One of the most common things I hear from clients is:
💜 “I just feel calmer.”
💜 “My mind has finally gone quiet.”
💜 “I didn’t realise how much stress I was carrying until it was gone.”

Whatever your experience, it’s important to be gentle with yourself afterward. Drink plenty of water, rest if your body asks for it, and allow yourself the space to receive.

Remember, healing doesn’t always have to be dramatic to be meaningful. Sometimes the biggest shifts happen in the quiet moments. 🌿✨

💜 A Little Reiki Moment From Last Night 💜

Last night poor Wesley was really struggling with teething. 😢

He was crying, upset, uncomfortable, and nothing seemed to be making him very happy at all. As a mum, it’s so hard watching your little one in pain and wishing you could just take it away for them.

While I was cuddling him, I decided to channel some Reiki for him. ✨

I didn’t have any expectations. I simply held him, channeled Reiki, and trusted that he would receive whatever was for his highest good.

Not long after, his little body started to relax. The tears stopped, the tension melted away, and before I knew it, he was fast asleep in my arms. 😴💙

Now, I can’t say for certain what helped the most. Maybe it was the cuddles, maybe it was the Reiki, or maybe it was a combination of both.

What I do know is that Reiki can be such a beautiful way to encourage relaxation and calm, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to share it with my own children.

Seeing him finally settled and sleeping peacefully was exactly what we both needed. 🥹💜

✨ One of my favourite parts of offering Reiki is when my psychic gifts naturally come through during a session. ✨

Sometimes I receive images, messages, feelings, or insights that may help provide clarity, validation, or guidance for my clients. These impressions often connect deeply with what they’re experiencing, even when they haven’t shared it with me beforehand.

After the Reiki session, we spend some time talking about what came through. It’s always fascinating to hear how the messages, visions, or feelings I received relate to what is happening in their life. Often, the insights provide confirmation, comfort, or a fresh perspective that helps them move forward.

While Reiki itself is the healing energy, I see my intuitive abilities as an extra tool that can help bring awareness to what may be ready to heal, release, or understand.

Every session is unique, and I’m always grateful to be a channel for both healing and guidance. 💜✨

✨ “But Is Distance Reiki As Good As In-Person?” ✨

This is probably one of the most common questions I get when people are considering a Distance Reiki session.

Many people assume that because I’m not physically in the room with them, it won’t be as effective or that they won’t feel much happening.

Then the feedback starts coming in… 💜

🌿 “I feel so much calmer.”
🌿 “The pain has eased.”
🌿 “I slept better than I have in weeks.”
🌿 “My anxiety has settled.”
🌿 “I feel lighter and clearer.”
🌿 “I wasn’t expecting to feel that much!”

One of the beautiful things about Reiki is that it isn’t limited by physical distance. Whether someone is sitting in my healing space or relaxing in their own home hundreds of kilometres away, the intention and connection remain.

In fact, some people find they relax even more during a Distance Reiki session because they’re in their own familiar environment. There’s no travelling, no rushing to an appointment, and no need to leave the comfort of home.

Of course, everyone has their own preferences. Some people love the experience of an in-person session, while others prefer the convenience and comfort of distance healing.

What I’ve learned from the feedback I receive is that Distance Reiki is often far more powerful than people expect.

Sometimes the biggest surprise isn’t that Reiki works from a distance…

It’s how quickly people notice the shift. ✨

I never take it for granted when someone chooses to return for another session. It’s such an honour to be trusted to walk alongside someone on their healing journey and to hold space for whatever they may need in that moment.

Every session is unique. Sometimes it’s about deep relaxation, sometimes emotional release, and sometimes it’s simply having the opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

I’m feeling grateful this morning and looking forward to seeing what unfolds during today’s session. 💜🌿

🦋Sometimes Healing Looks Like Letting Go 🦋

Not everything is meant to be carried forever.

Sometimes the healing isn’t in holding on tighter.

It’s in releasing.

Releasing the guilt.
Releasing the expectations.
Releasing the need to keep everyone happy.
Releasing the version of yourself you’ve outgrown.

Letting go isn’t giving up.

It’s creating space.

Space for peace.
Space for growth.
Space for new opportunities.
Space for the things that truly align with who you are now.

I’ve learned that some things aren’t ours to fix, control, or carry.

And while letting go can feel uncomfortable at first, there is often so much freedom waiting on the other side.

What would happen if you gave yourself permission to put down just one thing you’ve been carrying?

One worry.
One responsibility that isn’t yours.
One expectation that’s weighing you down.

You don’t have to carry it all.

🌿 Some seasons are for holding on.

🌿 Some seasons are for letting go.

Trust yourself to know the difference.

✨ Reiki & The Healing Response ✨

Many people expect to leave a Reiki session feeling instantly lighter, calmer, and more energised.

And often, they do. 💜

But sometimes healing unfolds in a different way.

As the body and nervous system begin to relax, emotions, stress, and energy that have been held beneath the surface can start to move. You may notice a greater need for rest, vivid dreams, heightened emotions, temporary fatigue, or simply a sense that your body is processing something.

This doesn’t mean anything has gone wrong.

In many cases, it can be a sign that your system is integrating and creating space for balance and healing.

A few gentle reminders:

🌿 Healing isn’t always linear.
💜 Every person’s experience is unique.
🌿 Rest is part of the process.
💜 Drink plenty of water and support your body.
🌿 Be kind to yourself.
💜 Trust your body’s wisdom.

Not everyone experiences this response, and for many people Reiki simply feels calming and restorative. But if things feel a little different after a session, know that your body may be doing exactly what it needs to do.
