✨ I’VE BEEN KEEPING A LITTLE SECRET… ✨

For the past few months, I’ve been quietly working on something very special, and I’m SO excited that I can finally share it with you…

Mooie Makeup & Facci officially have a home in Launceston! 🥹🤎

Frosty and I are incredibly excited to announce that we are the new owners of Salon Kephi.

I’ve now spent my first week working alongside the beautiful Kephi girls, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous team. The salon has everything I love — beautiful energy, genuine connection and, most importantly, one-on-one customer service.

It feels like the perfect home for the next chapter of Mooie & Facci.

And I have SO many plans! ✨

There’s a beautiful space where I can hold Facci training sessions, makeup lessons, education days and special events. I’ll be offering Facci services on Fridays, as well as makeup services and blow-dries on Saturdays.

After so many years in the beauty industry, I still absolutely love what I do. This has never just been a business to me — it’s my passion. I love our beauty community, I love supporting other women and businesses, and I love creating a place where customers feel genuinely looked after.

And now I’m ready for this next chapter. 🤎

This week, I want to talk about the heart of Mooie Makeup — our custom Facci Palette System. 🤎

The Facci experience starts with a FREE personal consultation. You come in, take a seat in my chair, and we chat.

We talk about your skin, your skin type and how your skin may be changing, particularly through perimenopause and menopause. We look at what your skin needs, how we can add hydration, correct areas of concern and use makeup to enhance your beautiful features.

Because I truly believe makeup should enhance, not hide.

Then comes the fun part! 🙌

We colour match your foundation, find the right contour and blush shades, talk about the colours you love and create a palette that’s completely personalised to YOU.

For me, beautiful skin is always the starting point. Get your foundation, contour and blush right, and everything else simply flows.

And because Facci is refillable and customisable, you only choose the products and colours you actually want and use. When something runs out, simply refill it. ♻️

Simple. Personal. Sustainable.

Accolades are earned, and they deserve to be celebrated!

To see Facci named a Finalist in the 2026 Global Green Beauty Awards is another very special moment for our little Tassie brand. 🌿

I’ve worked so hard to create a system that is beautiful, practical and focused on less waste, refillable products and smarter beauty choices.

Now we cross our fingers… 🤞
Hopefully Facci can bring one of these awards home! 🏆💚

What a moment! 🥹

From starting Mooie Makeup here in Tasmania, to creating the Facci System, travelling to Sydney for Beauty Expo, meeting so many incredible women and businesses, and continuing to grow this little Tassie brand — it’s been a fabulous journey!

There have been plenty of long days, late nights, big ideas, a few tears 😂 and a LOT of determination… so to be recognised amongst other amazing Australian women in business really does mean so much. 💜

✨ PRODUCT OF THE DAY

🌹 Let’s talk Rosewater… and something NEW coming!

Our Mooie Rosewater Setting Spray is one of those beautiful little products I love using throughout the entire makeup application.

I love it as a pre-prep spray before makeup. It instantly feels refreshing on the skin and gives that lovely boost of hydration before we start applying our Facci products.

Our Rosewater is made with rose hydrosol, with rose petals giving it that beautiful, delicate natural rose scent. It’s completely clear, lightweight and feels gorgeous on the skin.

So, what actually is a hydrosol?

A hydrosol is the beautiful aromatic water produced during the steam distillation of plants—in Mooie’s case, roses. It contains some of the gentle, water-soluble components of the rose but is much softer and more diluted than an essential oil.

That’s why I love rose hydrosol for the skin. 🌹 It helps refresh, soothe and lightly hydrate, making it beautiful for prepping the complexion, particularly when we want our makeup to look fresh and skin-like .
Then once I’ve finished the makeup, I mist it over the face again as my finishing and setting spray, helping everything settle beautifully into the skin and giving the complexion that fresh, hydrated finish I love.

But we have something exciting coming… 🌹♻️

We’ve recently organised NEW packaging for our Mooie Rosewater!

From the end of September, our Rosewater will be available in a beautiful soft rose-coloured glass 50ml bottle. I wanted the packaging to feel beautiful while also thinking about how we can make it more sustainable.

And our next step? REFILLS!

We’re looking at introducing gorgeous glass Rosewater Refill Dispensers at our Mooie stockists. The idea is that when your Rosewater is empty, rather than purchasing another bottle, you can take your beautiful glass bottle back to your stockist and refill it.

Less packaging. Less waste. Reuse what we already have. ♻️🌹

It fits so beautifully with everything I’m creating with the Facci System — refillable, reusable and more thoughtful beauty.

Pre-prep. Refresh. Set. Refill. Repeat. 🌹

🎶 The girls sure did have fun!

What a time we had at Beauty Expo Australia 2026!

I honestly don’t know where to start… the people we met, the laughs, the conversations, the demonstrations, the new Facci System stockists and the incredible amount of interest in Mooie Makeup. My heart is VERY full. 🥹💗

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who stopped by our stand, watched a demo, had a chat, purchased from us, asked about becoming a stockist or simply came over to see what Mooie & the Facci System are all about.

And to my gorgeous Expo team — what a ride! 😂❤️
The laughs, the memories and the experience of doing this together are something I’ll never forget.

To everyone who left their details or chatted with me about Mooie, Facci or becoming a stockist — I haven’t forgotten you! I’ll be emailing and catching up with all of our lovely leads by the end of this week. 💌

I’ve made it back to Melbourne, and Tuesday night it’s onto the boat and HOME TO TASSIE! 🚗⛴️💗

THE DAY BEFORE 😰😂❤️

Nothing’s ever easy, is it?! 😂

But with a little bit of my olde retail experience, I hustled myself a pallet and a lifter and got the job done! 💪

Got my steps in ✔️
Climbed a few ladders ✔️
Had a few “what have I got myself into?” moments ✔️😂
But we got there in the end!

A HUGE thank you to Sharon for coming in early and helping me pull it all together. Seriously, I think I’d still be there now… and I definitely would’ve missed knock-off drinks! 😂🥂

The stand is ready.
The Facci System is ready.
The Mooie girls are ready. 💗

After all the planning, packing, organising and travelling… tomorrow it all becomes real!
