This year in lieu of a Tropical Heart Christmas party, we decided to support a very special event and sponsor the Special Children's Christmas Party Cairns.
We were able to wrap our arms around so many more people in our beautiful community this way🎁

What an incredible day💫

We have been working closely with Lauren from Sound Escape Music Therapy music for the last 12+ months and today we got to turn so many dreams into a reality!

A huge thank you to Marlin Coast Lions Club for helping to make it possible🙏🏼

It was definitely a ‘goosebump’ moment watching and listening to our incredible participants record their individual songs and seeing their confidence soar to new heights 🙌🏼

A day for getting to watch dreams come true🌟🎤🎼

Interesting fact for international day of sign languages - Lauren can sign fluently as her grandmother was deaf & mute so the only way they communicated was by signing

International day of sign languages is held on the 23rd of September every year. Not only does it fall within the International Week of the Deaf, it is the date that the world federation of the deaf was established in 1951.
