Quorn Medical Practice is now offering an ADHD Assessment clinic led by GP Dr Mlawanda, who is trained to assess, diagnose and treat ADHD in patients over 8 years of age.

This service will enable families to access care close to home without traveling to the city and avoid lengthy waiting times.

The thorough assessment process uses an evidence-based approach grounded in the latest Australian ADHD guidelines to identify the support that's right for you to help you move forward with confidence.

🌾Connecting with our communities at Cleve Field Days 🌾

Our team had the opportunity to attend the Cleve Field Days, with staff from our Port Lincoln, Port Augusta and Whyalla offices coming together to connect with the community and share more about the services available through Country & Outback Health.

We invited people to take part in our Community Connections Map, where people could place a sticker to show where they were from and share what they felt were some of the health gaps in their community.

What started as a simple activity led to some great conversations about the challenges people experience accessing health services in regional and remote communities, as well as what support is needed locally.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat and shared their thoughts with us. Your voice helps shape the way we connect with and support our communities.

☀️ Walk For Wellness - Port Augusta 🌿

Fifteen people joined staff from our ITC Program for our Walk for Wellness on 3 August, with Port Augusta Mayor, Mrs Linley Shine, joining the group along the way.

With plenty of sunshine, fresh air and good company, the group made their way along the foreshore before finishing at the Swimmers Memorial Park. The morning ended with a relaxing mindfulness stretch session hosted by Centacare Catholic Country SA as part of Loneliness Awareness Week.

A great morning of moving, connecting and taking some time for our wellbeing.

Now offering Functional Capacity Assessments at Country & Outback Health in Port Lincoln and surrounding areas.

Country & Outback Health is now offering Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) for young people aged 7–20 years in Port Lincoln and surrounding areas.

These assessments support children, young people and their families by providing a clearer understanding of their strengths, support needs and everyday functioning.
