💗 BreastScreen WA is coming to Williams! 💗

The FREE BreastScreen WA mobile clinic will be visiting Williams from 20–25 August 2026 at the Williams Shire Office (rear), Brooking Street.

Breast screening is recommended every 2 years for women aged 50–74 years, and women 40 years and over with no breast symptoms are also welcome to book.

Hello to our wonderful Williams community!

Our beloved Raj, Niru and Anishka are off on a well‑deserved break next week to visit family, and we couldn’t be happier for them. We hope they enjoy every minute of their holiday! In the meantime, I’m Georgia, the pharmacist looking after you for the next six weeks. I’m excited to get to know everyone!

Because of daycare availability, we’ll be closing at 2.50 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. We apologies for any inconvenience. If these hours don’t work for you, please contact us as we may be able to discuss delivery options. The rest of our hours remain unchanged (Wed–Fri: 9 am–5 pm, Sat: 9 am–12 pm).

Don't forget Hillary will continue seeing patients on Thursday and Saturday for quick check‑ups and repeat prescriptions.

Thank you for your understanding and for being such a supportive community. I look forward to meeting you all soon!

💉 Free RSV Vaccines for Older Australians — Coming 15 May

What is RSV?
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a common virus that affects the lungs and breathing.
While it may feel like a bad cold, in older adults it can lead to serious illness, including pneumonia and hospitalisation.

Why is vaccination important?
As we get older, our immune system weakens. The RSV vaccine helps reduce the risk of severe illness and hospital stays, especially during winter.

Who is eligible for a FREE RSV vaccine?
✅ Adults aged 75 years and over
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60 years and over
