After spending yesterday convinced  it was Wednesday, I'm in shock that Friday has arrived!   Where did the week go?!

Working from home seems to be the ultimate recipe for mixing worlds -  to a point where the days blur and my desk is a mixture of technology, scarves, craft projects, pendulums, notes, tea and smarties....

Since leaving my team to work full time in private practice, I have definitely noticed isolation creeping in and a craving for more routine.  I'm working on it!

It's interesting to reflect on what we need as human beings and think about creative ways to meet those needs outside of a structured system.

How do you get the balance right?  What are you still working on?

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my amazing colleagues at Dementia Australia after 7.5 years in the Counselling team and a decade with DA. The organisation and those I've worked alongside have held me in my own difficult times and shaped me in so many ways, especially in my understanding of loss and grief.

I'm excited to step fully into Two Souls after juggling both roles for some time now, however, I'm also aware of the grief I feel making this transition and letting go. As this cycle comes to an end, I recognise that there is a lot of processing and honouring to do. My body is 'speaking' this with tears and bone crushing fatigue as the energy of it passes through me and makes space for the new.

This morning I sat with this energy and asked for a card that would reflect this transition. I asked my guides and all those who support me in this realm and others for this guidance.

I'd say they got it right ❤️

If you’re a Counsellor or Therapist looking for a supervision space where you can speak honestly about the work - the questions, uncertainties, challenges and meaningful moments - this group may be a good fit.

I’m starting an additional small, monthly supervision group, designed to be a supportive & thoughtful space where nothing feels off the table & practitioners can speak openly, reflect together, and learn from one another. Falling on a Friday, it's a great way to wrap up the week!

First session: Friday 17 April
10.30am - 12pm (ACST)
Then running monthly from there.

I’m a PACFA Accredited Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years' experience in counselling and meet requirements for both PACFA & ACA counsellors.

Places will be limited to keep the group small and supportive.

If you’d like to know more or reserve a place, feel free to DM me or email [email protected].

To learn more about my approach, please click the Supervision link in my bio.
