✨ Gratitude Post ✨

A few months ago, I reached out to local businesses with a vision…

Not just for collaboration but to create something meaningful for our team.

At Kindred, we know the work our support workers do is incredible… but it can also be demanding. So our goal was simple:
👉 Help our staff feel appreciated
👉 Encourage them to take time to rest and recover
👉 Remind them that burnout is not a badge of honour - their wellbeing matters too

We wanted our onboarding packs to reflect that. Not just paperwork… but a genuine message of care.

And the response from our local community has been nothing short of amazing. 💛

🚨 We’re Hiring – Male Support Workers Needed! 🚨

Kindred Support is currently seeking male support workers to join our growing team across our SIL homes and respite services.

We’re looking for people who are ready to make a real impact and can commit to consistent, reliable hours.

What we’re offering:
✔ Supportive team environment
✔ Meaningful and rewarding work
✔ Ongoing opportunities for growth

What we’re looking for:
✔ Male support workers (role requirement based on participant needs)
✔ Minimum availability of 20 hours per week
✔ Availability across SIL and respite shifts (including weekends and sleepovers where required)
✔ All relevant checks completed and ready to go (NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, etc.)
✔ Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach

At Kindred Support Pty Ltd, we know that respite isn’t just about time away it’s about feeling safe, supported, and genuinely connected.

That’s why we’re excited to offer 1:3 respite capacity, designed for participants who thrive in a shared, social, and supportive environment.

✨ We’re Looking for the Perfect Match! ✨

We currently have 2 female participants (aged 11–13) who have 1:3 respite funding, and we’re looking for another female aged 11–13 to join them 💕

This is a beautiful opportunity for a young person who would benefit from:
🌸 Building friendships
🌸 Social interaction in a small, supported group
🌸 Fun, structured respite stays

At Kindred, we focus heavily on compatibility and connection, so we’re seeking someone who will be a great fit for the girls and enjoy shared activities together 🫶
