Ever wanted a mirena, but not sure what it entails?
Seen the scary instruments on the trolley and not sure what they do?

When we perform any procedure through the va**na the instruments are always extra long so we can reach the cervix. They may look scary but they all have a purpose!

The speculum helps us see the cervix - getting a good view makes the mirena quicker and easier to insert!

The tenaculum is the pinchy bu**er! We don’t always need to use it, but if the cervix wants to wiggle away it may be needed. A cervical block stops you feeling the pinch.

The uterine sound measures the length of your uterus to make sure the mirena is placed at the top of the uterus.

The sponge forceps are used to clean the cervix prior to Mirena insertion, and are also used to pull out the old mirena if we are replacing one.

The scissors trim the strings - no one wants to feel them too low!!

Pregnancy test helps make sure we are not too late!!

Great for contraception or period control!!

Pregnancy and postpartum can bring plenty of questions: Am I doing enough to support my baby? How can I care for my gut while my body changes? And what support might be helpful after birth?

That’s why we may recommend Metagenics UltraFlora Mother & Baby—a 2-in-1 probiotic formulated for both mother and baby.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it may help:

🤍 Maintain healthy maternal intestinal flora
🤍 Support maternal health and wellbeing
🤍 Support healthy foetal development

After birth, the same formula can be given to infants from birth by mixing the capsule contents with breast milk, formula or water. It is designed to support your baby’s developing gut flora and immune health—while continuing to support you during the postpartum period.

Every pregnancy, recovery and baby is different. If you’re unsure about probiotics, taking other medicines or simply want reassurance about what’s appropriate, speak with our healthcare team for personalised guidance.

*Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Advise your doctor of any medicines taken during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester. If you are concerned about your health or your baby’s health, speak with a healthcare professional. Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze.*

Some decisions are shaped by the trends of the moment. Eyebrow tattoos are no exception.

The bold shapes, colours and techniques that once felt right may no longer suit your features, personal style or the way you want your brows to look today. If your cosmetic brow tattoo has faded unevenly, changed colour or simply no longer feels like you, laser removal may be an option.

Laser treatment works by targeting the tattoo pigment so the body can gradually clear it over time. Because cosmetic tattoo inks vary in colour, composition and depth, every removal journey is different. Some pigments may respond quickly, while others can darken or change colour before fading. Multiple sessions are often required.

A consultation and test spot allow us to assess your pigment, skin and previous tattooing before recommending a personalised treatment plan.

Changing your mind is allowed. Book a consultation to learn what may be possible for your brows.

Call 02 6024 1156 to speak with our team.

*Individual results vary. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Laser treatment carries potential risks, including temporary redness, swelling, pigment changes and scarring. Suitability, risks and expected outcomes will be discussed during your consultation.*

Skin tags are common, but they can become irritating when they catch on clothing, jewellery or areas where skin rubs.

Before removal, your practitioner will assess the growth and confirm whether treatment is suitable. You will also receive information about the procedure, possible risks, healing and aftercare.

Avoid cutting, burning or freezing a suspected skin tag at home. Any new, changing or unusual skin growth should first be checked by a qualified health professional.

Do I need a consultation first for Tattoo Removal?

Yes, a consultation comes first.

Before starting body or eyebrow tattoo removal, we assess:

• Your skin
• The tattoo’s pigment, colours, depth and location
• Your medical history and medications
• Any factors that may affect treatment or healing

A patch test allows your practitioner to see how your skin and the pigment respond before preparing your treatment plan. This is particularly important for cosmetic eyebrow tattoos, as these pigments can respond differently from traditional body tattoo ink.

Can Endolifting be performed on the stomach?

Yes, the abdomen is one of the areas that may be considered for treatment.

Endolifting uses a fine laser fibre beneath the skin to deliver targeted energy. Early research suggests it may support collagen remodelling and improve the appearance of mild skin laxity or small areas of localised fat.

We may consider abdominal Endolifting for suitable patients concerned about mild changes in skin firmness or contour. However, research specific to the abdomen remains limited, and results vary considerably between individuals.

Endolifting is not a weight-loss treatment or a replacement for liposuction or abdominoplasty. A clinical consultation is required to determine whether it is appropriate for your anatomy, concerns and expectations.

Call 02 6024 1156 to book a consultation.

*Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed. All procedures carry risks. Suitability, evidence, alternatives, recovery and potential complications will be discussed during consultation.*
