Hi 👋 I’m back from maternity leave and now accepting paediatric referrals for physiotherapy: NDIS, private or Medicare. Here is a photo of me and our twin boys, who as you can see, now do not sit still 😅

I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, servicing the Wollongong area and surrounding suburbs.

Clinical interest:
* Early Intervention 0-5 years
* Infant musculoskeletal conditions eg. plagiocephaly/brachycephaly, torticollis
* Gross motor delay
* Cerebral palsy and genetic conditions
* Hypermobility/Ehlers-danlos Syndrome
* Gait abnormalities
* Respiratory physiotherapy

A lot has changed since I last posted on here, I’m now a Mum to twin boys Fredric & Isaac who are now 5.5 months 💙🩵 I had hopes to put up a lot of paediatric physio content while I was on maternity leave, but turns out, I’m quite busy with 2 very different babies who are never in sync 🤣🤹🏻‍♀️
The boys were born at 36 weeks after a rough pregnancy and spent time in special care nursery for feeding support. Fredric had congenital muscular torticollis (still treating), a strong head turn preference to the left and mild plagiocephaly and Isaac had scaphocephaly and head turn preference to the right, treating head shape abnormalities is an interest area of mine, so they must of known 😅 both boys have laryngomalacia and had terrible reflux (that was fun 🤪). The pregnancy, delivery, SCN, and early months have helped shape me into a better physio with a greater understanding of life on the other side(when I RTW).

I plan to post some information on those conditions and how I went about treating and ways to support development, hopefully before they are 1 😆

Hi 👋 thought I’d reintroduce myself. My name’s Simone, and for those that already know me, I have moved back down to the Illawarra area! I have a keen interest in paediatrics (kids physio) and adult neurological physio. I DID IT!!! Final exam complete and I’ve officially finished 6.5 years of uni and can say I now have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons). What an experience! Started at Western Sydney University and finished at University of Newcastle. It was tough, through life’s ups and downs, juggling business and work while studying full-time and sacrificing a lot! I couldn’t have done it without 😘 Our life is just getting started ❤️ I’m so excited to put my heart and soul into my new (awesome) job, working in Paediatrics at , It’s all paid off 🙌🏼 now to relax 🧖‍♀️and celebrate🥂

27 weeks of clinical placement this year and all my savings $$, but I’ve finished 🥳 couldn’t have done it without the support from pushing me through to the end. 1 assignment and oral defence left 🙌🏼 I can see the light 🌈
