Sleep is not just about what happens at night.
It’s shaped across the whole day.
The light your child is exposed to.
The amount of movement they get.
Their diet and nutritional needs.
Opportunities for play, sensory exploration, rest, and connection.
All of these feed into their ability to settle and stay asleep. This is often why tweaking bedtime alone doesn’t change much. When the day starts to support your child’s rhythms, sleep can feel different. Not perfect, but more predictable and easier to work with.
If you’ve been focusing on nights and still feel stuck, it might be worth looking at the bigger picture. If you’d like some support to do that, I’m here for you.
