Don't be embarrassed to talk about your dizziness.

Many people minimise their symptoms or avoid discussing them because they worry others won't understand.

Seeking help isn't a sign of weakness. It's often the first step toward understanding what's happening and finding the right treatment pathway.

Vestibular education extends far beyond our clinic rooms.

At Dizzy Clinics Australia, our team is actively involved in educating and upskilling healthcare professionals across Australia in the assessment and management of dizziness, vertigo and balance disorders.

We are proud to provide education and lectures for organisations including NSW Ambulance, NSW Health and the University of Wollongong School of Medicine, helping build greater awareness and clinical confidence in vestibular care.

By sharing knowledge with doctors, physiotherapists, paramedics, medical students and other health professionals, we hope to improve access to high-quality vestibular care for patients throughout our communities.

Education has always been a core part of what we do.

BPPV is one of the most common causes of vertigo.

BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) occurs when tiny crystals inside the inner ear become displaced and move into the wrong part of the balance system.

This can cause brief episodes of spinning vertigo when:
• Rolling over in bed
• Looking up
• Bending forward
• Getting in or out of bed

Many people are surprised to learn that BPPV is often highly treatable.

With the correct assessment and treatment, symptoms can frequently be resolved quickly and effectively.

If vertigo is affecting your daily life, don't ignore it.

At Dizzy Clinics Australia, we believe education is a huge part of effective care.

For many people living with dizziness or vertigo, the symptoms can feel confusing, frustrating and overwhelming - especially when they do not fully understand what is happening.

That’s why we take the time to explain the vestibular system, discuss your condition in detail, and help you understand why your symptoms occur.

We want our patients to leave appointments feeling informed, empowered and confident in their treatment journey - not confused.

Because understanding your condition is often the first step toward improving it.

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and hospitalisation in older adults.

And for many people, dizziness, vertigo and balance problems are a major contributor.

1 in 3 adults over 65 experience a fall each year.
Many falls happen at home during simple daily activities.
A single fall can significantly impact confidence, independence and quality of life.

The good news?

Many balance and vestibular conditions can be assessed and treated.

At Dizzy Clinics Australia, our advanced-trained vestibular physiotherapists help people with dizziness, vertigo and balance disorders through targeted vestibular rehabilitation and balance retraining.

If you or a loved one are feeling unsteady, dizzy, or worried about falls - early intervention can make a significant difference.

Does the room spin when you look up to hang out the washing?

Or when reaching overhead, looking up at shelves, or tilting your head back?

This could be BPPV - one of the most common causes of vertigo.

BPPV occurs when tiny crystals inside the inner ear become displaced, sending incorrect signals to the brain about movement and position.

Common triggers include:
🔸Looking up
🔸Rolling over in bed
🔸Getting in or out of bed
🔸Bending forward
🔸Quick head movements

The good news?

BPPV is treatable with the correct assessment and repositioning treatment.

At Dizzy Clinics Australia, our advanced-trained vestibular physiotherapists use specialised assessment techniques and infrared video goggles to accurately diagnose and treat BPPV.

You do not need to just “put up with it”.
