Your bones are working hard for you every single day - it's time to return the favour. 🦴💪

Osteoporosis is often called a "silent disease" because there are no symptoms until a fracture happens. The good news? It's largely preventable.

This week is also Healthy Bones Action Week, and small steps make a big difference:
✅ Get enough calcium & vitamin D
✅ Add weight-bearing exercise to your routine
✅ Talk to your doctor about bone density screening (especially post-50!)

Strong bones start with the choices you make today. Tag someone who needs this reminder! 👇

Stroke is one of Australia’s biggest killers. It kills more women than breast cancer and more men than prostate cancer.

From family members to bystanders, everyday Australians are being called on to become ‘F.A.S.T. heroes’ this National Stroke Week by learning to recognise the signs of stroke and acting quickly when stroke strikes.

F.A.S.T. highlights the three most common signs of stroke (Face drooping, Arm weakness, and Speech difficulty) and emphasises the importance of Time when it comes to recognising and treating a stroke. A stroke is always a medical emergency.

Strokes don't wait, and neither should you. Share this to help someone recognise the signs before it's too late.

Did you know that Australia's fastest man has Type 1 Diabetes? 🏃🥇

Every day, 2 million Australians live with diabetes, managing something most people never fully see. This July, Diabetes Australia is amplifying their voices through Living Out Loud - a campaign inviting people living with diabetes, their carers, researchers, health professionals, and clinicians to say, out loud and without apology, the one thing they’ve always wished people knew.

Real change doesn’t come from one voice speaking louder, it comes from many voices speaking together 🤝

Know a man who has been quietly doing the work this Men's Health Month? Send him these flowers, or tag him below 💐

Showing up to their exercise sessions. Working through mental or physical recovery. Having tough conversations they used to avoid.

June is Men's Health Month, and sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is just tell someone they are doing a good job ❤️‍🩹🩵

June is Men's Health Month.

This year, we are shining a light on Men's Mental Health, because the current statistics are too large to ignore.

1 in 8 men will experience depression. 1 in 5 will experience anxiety. Most won't say a word about it.

It is not easy to speak up, but saying things out loud really does lighten the load!

If you're doing it tough, reach out. Lifeline is available 24/7 on 13 11 14💙
