Have you ever heard of the Omega 6:3 ratio test? Called - The Balance Test

Most people haven’t, but it can tell you so much about what’s going on in your body when you’re trying to conceive, or if you are doing IVF.

This simple blood test looks at the balance between your omega-3s, which are your calming and anti-inflammatory fats, and your omega-6s, which are your pro-inflammatory fats.

Both are essential, but when the ratio is out of balance, it can create an inflammatory environment and also impair the immune system.

One very common story I see with couples trying to conceive is this:

You’ve been trying for months or even years, tracking cycles, taking prenatals, and doing everything right.

You finally see a specialist, hoping for answers, and then you hear the words: Endometriosis.

For many, it comes as a shock. You might not have had painful periods, or maybe you’ve dismissed the period cramps as normal. Suddenly, this invisible condition feels like it’s standing between you and the baby you’ve been dreaming of.

What you need to know ⬇️

Endometriosis can make conception more challenging, yes.

But it does NOT mean you cannot fall pregnant! There are ways to support fertility naturally and medically.

For some, IVF might be the path to pregnancy. For others, having excision surgery and doing further investigations into optimal hormone levels, reproductive microbiome testing, and making s***m health outstanding will be enough.

Some steps to start supporting your Endo fertility today include:

Your eggs are the sum of the environment they live in.

Creating their dream environment can be a game changer 💫 I’ve seen it 👀

If I was to give all of my clients the same 3 pieces of advice, it would be these.

In this order:

1. Get your level of inflammation down by testing your cellular omega-6:3 ratio.

Levels between 3:1 and 1:1 indicate enough omega-3 fatty acids are present in your cell membranes to allow optimal function & fluidity. This keeps inflammation levels down.

Inflammation accelerates aging.

2. Avoid and minimise endocrine disrupting chemicals, plastics and toxic products on a daily basis.

Do a whole household overhaul. Be ruthless.

3. Lastly, level up your diet & supplements.

Feed your eggs the real nutrients they need for proper cell division and mitochondrial health.
Nutrients like:

* vitamin B12
* vitamin D
* zinc
* folate
* vitamin B6
* vitamin A
* CoQ10
* selenium

There is so much fertility advice online 📱 and a lot of it makes it seem like you need to eat perfectly, supplement endlessly, and control every variable to get pregnant 🤍

But the truth is, you can’t control everything and the more tightly you try to, the worse it will feel.

Fertility nutrition is not about perfection or restriction 🚫

It is about creating a personalised approach for you. Eating enough nutrition so your body feel safe and able to prepare for a pregnancy, or loading up with high-antioxidant but lower calorie needs if you’re needing weight loss optimisation, this can be achieved 🌟
