Our beautiful son, Sol Micah Sheedy, arrived on 30th July via the sunroof exit, born under the gentle glow of the full Buck Moon.
Getting to know my son over this past week has been one of the most healing experiences of my life.
He has shown me just how much I’ve grown as a mum over the past couple of years, giving me a deeper sense of trust and patience as we navigate breastfeeding, sleepy days, and finding our own rhythm together.
One of the greatest gifts has been watching Tallulah become a big sister. She happily curls up beside me under my wing while we admire all of her little brother’s unique features. In those moments, time seems to stand still, and I find myself soaking in the beautiful love and bond they already share.
With Sol’s arrival, my IVF and pregnancy journey has officially come to an end. I’m excited to reconnect with this new version of myself, embracing my postpartum body and my new scar, which will forever remind me of the incredible journey of growing, birthing, and welcoming my son into the world.
Sol and Tallulah, you are my whole world. I will always do everything I can to protect your peace, nurture your hearts, and remind you every single day how deeply you are loved.
Thank you Jordan for capturing these precious moments that our family will treasure forever. Thank you too for making Tully feel so loved and special as she met her baby brother. You have such a beautiful way with little ones and you’re truly a little human whisperer.
