Implanon Insertion: What to Expect

New Patients: Your journey starts with an initial consultation where the doctor will explain the benefits and risks of Implanon. Afterward, you’ll receive a prescription to fill at the pharmacy. Once you have the Implanon, the doctor will handle the insertion. Cost: $245, plus the Implanon. Medicare rebate: approximately $80.

Existing Patients: For returning patients, the insertion cost is $150. Medicare rebate: $40.55, plus the cost of the Implanon from the pharmacy.
