Not all cacao is the same. Here's what's actually in your cup:

Ours is 100% Arriba Nacional - an heirloom variety native to Ecuador, prized for its floral depth and smooth, full body. It's grown by a single family farm in the Los Ríos region using organic and traditional harvesting methods.

Nothing extracted. Nothing added. Not genetically modified or cross-bred amongst different varieties. Grown for the purpose of being just as nature intended. That's what ceremonial grade means to us - and why it's important to know where your cacao comes from and who grew it. 🌱

Your morning, reimagined:

Wake.
Pour your milk of choice into a pot and drop in 20–25g of your cacao.
Whisk it slow while you awaken your senses.
Add a pinch of salt, maybe your herbs, a little honey if you like.
Sit. Sip. Set one intention for the day.

Ten quiet minutes before the world asks anything of you.

Start your ritual → link in bio. 🤎

Here's something most people don't know about cacao:

Its flowers are pollinated almost entirely by a tiny midge - a fly smaller than a pinhead - that can only survive in the damp, shaded leaf litter of a healthy forest floor.

No thriving forest, no pollinators. No pollinators, no cacao.

This is why cacao grown in diverse agroforestry systems - among other species, in living soil - isn't just better for the planet. It's how cacao is meant to grow: nutrient rich souls grows nutrient dense crops and keeps heavy metals away. It's what you can taste in a single-origin paste like ours. 🌱

Drink the forest. Give back to the forest. Join us for ceremony & sound in Sydney this on Sunday. Link in bio.

Your cup of cacao begins in a forest.

Before it reaches your hands, it grows slowly in the shade of taller trees - part of a living system of shade from taller trees, soil, insects and rain. When you drink cacao, you're in relationship with all of it.

On Sunday we're gathering with .earth, and a portion of every ticket goes directly to rainforest restoration in the Daintree - one of the oldest living rainforests on Earth and homelands of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people. Through eco-cultural tourism, Yalanji people reconnect with Country and lead the rainforest's reforestation story. Since their beginning, the Jabalbina rangers have planted over half a million trees and provided long-term cultural work for Yalanji people.

A ceremony that gives back to the kind of forest cacao comes from. It felt right.

Details in bio. We'd love to share the room with you. 🌱
