This week has been about the little moments for me.

The moments outside.
The walks with the dog.
Prioritising the time to get to yoga or pilates.

As someone who works in the mental health space, I know how important these things are. But I also know the reality of life. When things get busy, these are often the first things to slip away.

This week, as I’ve made a conscious effort to prioritise me, I’ve been reminded just how much we need these moments.

What are you doing this week to look after you?

16/06/2026

Five things I do to support my mental health:
1. Get outside every day, even when it’s cold
2. Practice breathwork while driving, my go to is usually a humming breath
3. No phone before bed rule
4. Read a book in bed with the lamp on, helping me to wind down
5. Allow myself to rest when I need it, rest doesn’t need to be earned

We often think supporting our mental health means adding more, another habit, another routine, another thing on the to-do list.

For me, it’s usually the opposite.
None of these cost money. None of them require a perfect routine. None of them need much time.

They’re small shifts that help me come back to myself, day after day.

Courage over comfort.

Not because courage always looks big and brave.

Sometimes it looks like sending the email, taking the chance, having the conversation, or backing yourself before you feel ready.

Every moment I’m in this office I’m reminded that the life we want is often built through a series of small, courageous decisions.

Little decisions add up.

One step at a time.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga invites us to slow down.

Shapes are held for longer periods, creating space to gently target the body’s connective tissues while offering an opportunity to pause, breathe, and be present.

While the shapes may look simple, the practice often isn’t. Yin asks us to sit with stillness, notice what arises, and soften into the moment.

A beautiful practice to complement to our busy lives.
Come try Tuesday’s 5.30pm

Have you tried Yin Yoga before?

May was full in all the best ways!

A month of growth, connection, learning, and creating space for what truly matters.

A few highlights included:
– Hosting new events
– Running corporate sessions
– Completing my into to kinesiology case studies
– 4 divine days at Yoga Nidra training
– Moving to a waitlist for 1:1 OT appointments

And amongst all of that, making time for me, for slow moments, good people, and the practices that keep bringing me back to myself. Not going to lie, it did get busy for a moment.

Feeling incredibly grateful for this season and excited to see what unfolds in June.

Lately, I’ve been sitting with the idea of embodiment.
Not just talking about the things that matter to us, but actually living them.

Coming off a week of yoga Nidra training and finishing a yin practice tonight, I’m reminded how important it is to hold space for myself too. To slow down. To return to the practices that ground me.

Sometimes embodiment looks like the big things, but often it’s found in the simple moments, a morning walk, a quiet cup of tea, stepping onto the mat, making time to simply be.

The way we move through our days becomes the way we embody what matters most to us.

How do you embody the qualities that are important to you?

To the women who have nurtured, guided, supported, and shaped me, thank you.

Today I’m especially grateful for my own mum, whose love, strength, and presence have been one of the greatest gifts in my life. The older I get, the more I appreciate the quiet ways mothers and mother figures hold so much for the people around them.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums, grandmothers, aunties, mentors, friends, and women who mother in their own way.

There’s something really special about this photo. Not long ago, these women were strangers, now they’re meeting up, supporting each other, and doing life side by side.

This is the part people don’t expect. It’s not just the retreat, it’s the people you meet when you say yes.

The ones who get it. The ones who become your people. Sometimes they’ve been closer than you think, you just needed the space to find each other.

And seeing these women come together and to have some of them coming back with us to retreat again says everything.

If you’ve been craving connection like this come join us in Sri Lanka.

You never know who you might meet.
