I’ve been trying to get back into my morning walks lately.

Today, it was raining and I nearly didn’t go very far.

I had plenty of reasons to turn around. I had things to do, I wasn’t particularly motivated, and staying home would’ve been easier.

But I kept walking.

And then I saw this.

A rainbow.

It felt like a little reminder that getting back into something doesn’t have to look perfect. Sometimes it’s just about choosing to start again, even when you don’t really feel like it.

And sometimes you get a nice surprise along the way.

One morning walk at a time.

Struggle to remember new habits? You don’t always need to try harder.

The car has become my little habit stacking zone. I now pair connecting back to my breath with getting in the car, and now I don’t even have to think about it, I just automatically do it.

That’s the beauty of habit stacking. You’re not relying on memory, motivation or willpower. You’re using something you already do as a reminder for something you want to do more often.

Gratitude doesn’t have to mean journaling.
5 ways to weave it into your day:

1. Talk about it
Share one good thing from your day around the dinner table.

2. Notice it
Pause on your walk and notice something you’re grateful for.

3. Say it
Tell someone what you appreciate about them.

4. Capture it
Keep a running gratitude note in your phone. Quick and easy to keep coming back to.

5. Journal it
Write down 3 things you’re grateful for.

There’s no one right way to practice gratitude. Find what works for you.

Some days, I’m rushing around, getting things done, and that’s okay.

Other days, I notice I have a moment to slow down. To wait while the kettle boils instead of reaching for my phone. To actually taste the first sip.

Notice the moments where you can pause.
Those little moments add up.

What one are you today? Version 1 or 2?

Maybe this is your reminder to get outside today.

Will it fix all your problems? No.

But is it worth a try?

You tell me.

Sometimes self care is five minutes sitting on your bed.

No candles.
No elaborate routine.
No spending money.
No need to make it look a certain way.

I think we can sometimes create a lot of barriers around self care without even realising it.

We think we need more time.
We need the right space.
We need to buy something.
We need to do it properly.

But sometimes, self care can just be a small moment to pause.

Lately, for me, that’s looked like sitting on my bed for five minutes and doing some breathwork.

It’s not fancy. It’s not long. And it doesn’t magically fix everything.

But it gives me a moment to slow down, come back into my body and reset before I keep going.

August, in little moments.

1. Whale watching, something that’s been on my to-do list for SO long. Finally made it happen, and it was even more magical than I imagined.

2. A holiday with Mum, one of those trips that felt extra special simply because I got to share it with her.

3. A night out with the girls, lots of laughs, a few drinks and a good old boogie. Sometimes you just need a night like this.

4. Walks with the dog, especially when the sun decided to come out. The simplest things really do make the best moments.

5. Regular saunas, keeping warm, slowing down and making a little ritual out of looking after myself.

6. Hosting a private event in my space, connecting with new, beautiful women and feeling so grateful that I get to create spaces like this.

7. An oracle card I received in Bali, a reminder of evolution, growth and what it feels like to be a student again. There’s something really special about remembering you’ll never stop learning.

8. Winter sunshine, standing at the beach with shells in my hand and feeling incredibly grateful for where I get to live.

9. Working by the pool, slowly creating something that can keep moving even when I’m not here. A little glimpse of the life I’m building.

A month of big things, little things, new beginnings and lots of gratitude.

As humans, we have a funny habit of overcomplicating things.

And I think wellbeing has fallen into that trap too.

More routines. More rules. More things we should be doing.

But sometimes, looking after yourself can be as simple as putting your feet up and taking a few minutes to pause.

It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to work for you, in the life you’re actually living.

Save this one for the next time you need to take the pressure off.

My God, has this full moon and eclipse got me good.

I’ve felt pretty ungrounded. A little more emotional and a lot more in my head.

So I’ve been trying to come back to myself in the ways I know how.

Getting outside.
Moving my body.
Journaling.
Breathing.
Lighting the Palo Santo and cleansing the space.

Nothing fancy. Just small things that give me a moment to pause, get out of my head and reconnect with myself.

How are you feeling lately? Can you relate?

Today was hard.

And I had a choice. I could let the rest of the day follow the energy I was sitting in, or I could pause and intentionally shift it.

So I stood in my singing bowl, put one hand on my heart and one on my belly, and let the sound move through me.

It didn’t magically fix everything.
But it gave me a moment to breathe, reconnect and choose what I wanted to carry into the rest of my day.

Sometimes we don’t need to change everything.
Sometimes we just need to change the next moment.
