Australia has farewelled one its greats. Neale Daniher AO. Neale was not only a great player for Essendon and coach of Melbourne but his work to unite Australians in his fight against MND was extraordinary.

Since the first "Big Freeze" in 2014 and his founding of the FightMND charity, over $115 million has been raised to find a cure for what he called "The Beast".

Neale gave all those touched by a MND diagnosis hope of finding a cure.

Australians everywhere are saddened by his passing and our thoughts go out to his family, friends, teammates, players, MND community and those who although having never met him feel they know him.

Neale's legacy lives on and with the Big Freeze only a couple of weeks away let’s all buy a beanie to help end MND.

In the words of Neale, "the mark of a person isn't what they say it's what they do." 🕊️

One way we do that is by hosting our annual trivia night for Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital Palliative Care Unit ❤️‍🩹

This is our 5th year hosting and our biggest. With over 140 people in attendance, many for the first time 🫶🏽
