Happy Birthday to our Director, Adam! 🥳💙

Today we celebrate the man who brings the businessman attitude but never forgets the human approach.

Adam has always understood that this work isn’t just about running a business, filling shifts or ticking compliance boxes. It’s about people. Trust. Safety. Connection.

This photo captures that better than any corporate birthday post ever could.

For a little person who is non-verbal, communication doesn’t always come through words. Sometimes it’s a hand reaching for yours. Sometimes it’s choosing to sit close. Sometimes it’s simply feeling safe enough to connect.

And Adam creates that safety everywhere!

We’re proud to announce that BETTAbility Holistic Support Services is now providing high-quality, person-centred NDIS supports across the Sunshine Coast.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate, professional people who genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of others.

We’re currently recruiting:

Both roles are equally valued and play an essential part in helping participants achieve their goals, build independence, and live meaningful lives.

Some places have a way of reminding us to breathe again.

The earth beneath our feet, the endless sky above us, the calming water, and the strength of the land all have a way of bringing peace during life’s hardest moments.

Here in Townsville, surrounded by beauty, culture, community and connection, we are reminded that support is not just about services, it’s about people, belonging and knowing you are never alone in your journey.

For many living with disability, life can feel overwhelming at times. But moments like these remind us that healing, joy and hope can still be found in the world around us.

Not every disability can be seen.

Behind so many people with disability is a parent, carer or advocate who refused to give up.

The late nights.
The meetings.
The tears in the car after hearing “no” again.
The fighting for funding.
The endless explaining.
The fear of what happens if they stop pushing.

Most people will never truly understand the strength it takes to stand in front of systems and say:

Advocacy is not about creating conflict.
