Taking the opportunity to do do some meet and greets and discuss the new Pedorthic Footwear Standards with the local Podiatry Clinics.
Visiting My Foot Doctor, Ian's Podatry and North Queensland Foot and Ankle Clinic.
They do amazing work and have fantastic clinics.

Lots of Physios and Podiatrists interested in how they can work closer with Pedorthists.
Klaas was entertaining and educational and most commented the CPD content was the best they had ever attended.

Our aim is be a source for people who work with kids with gait issues to have access to some good footwear and good collaboration.
We're not Orthotists. We can't do what they do.

We engineer and integrate mechanical solutions into the footwear to achieve a planned purpose.

BFS Pedorthics invites you to a unique CPD event headlined by Prof. Dr. Klaas Postema, retired Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University Medical Center Groningen, Netherlands, and a world leader in paediatric gait, orthotics, and integrated mobility solutions. Prof. Postema has been involved in pedorthics since 1977, contributing to over 130 publications and editing two books on the field. Prof Posterma has decades of expertise combining clinical research with practical applications that transform children’s functional outcomes.

What to Expect:
Alongside Prof. Postema, the BFS Pedorthics team – Pedorthist Ernie Tye and Kirra Parker (B. Pedorthics) – will present on the specialised role of pedorthics in children’s orthopaedic footwear.

Presentations will include:
- Show-and-tell of paediatric and adult bracing and footwear cases
- Functional modifications that complement or replace AFOs
- Behind-the-scenes insights into local shoemaking and customisation

Event Highlights & Aims:
-Announcing our new ranges of paediatric footwear
