This winter we're excited to introduce our brand-new Mechanical Minds Program, perfect for children and teens who love building, creating, problem-solving, and exploring how things work. Plus, don't miss our exciting Pickleball Outing, where participants can learn a new sport, stay active, and enjoy friendly competition with peers.

Alongside these new experiences, we'll also be offering a range of our popular cooking, creative arts, animal care, and special interest programs.

🥪 SUBWAY SIMULATION CHALLENGE 🥪

Earlier this week, our SLES crew took on a hands-on “Subway Simulation” challenge… and let’s just say, it got competitive 😄

Participants were given a budget and tasked with creating their own sub meal—choosing their bread, fillings, drinks, and extras while making sure they didn’t go over budget. Sounds simple… until you realise how quickly those extras add up 👀💸

This activity wasn’t just about food (although there were some very creative combos!). It helped build real-life skills like:
✔️ Budgeting and money handling
✔️ Decision making
✔️ Reading menus and pricing
✔️ Communication and ordering skills

We saw some awesome problem-solving, teamwork, and confidence throughout the session—and a few future sandwich artists in the making 👏
