We thought you might like to get to know the people behind the sounds, so here’s a little snippet about each of us, our connection to sound and the local community, and of course, some of our favourite sounds and instruments. 🎶

Crystal Alchemy Healing
Crystal Hamilton
Crystal has always been curious about life & beyond, and she has gone deep within to offer a grounded presence to others. After going through a spiritual awakening in 2017 her love affair with sound began. Delving deep into crystal singing bowl meditations she has dedicated many years practice and facilitation with the crystal bowls and now the Peter Hess® method. Crystal’s husband is a local chef in Dunsborough, and they have 3 gorgeous creative girls. Crystal enjoys hearing stories of psychic/paranormal and extraterrestrial phenomena. While Crystal has a few favourite instruments she does love the deeper sounds created by her Peter Hess® belly bowl and her Grotto Sonora gong, bringing sublime Italian vibrations whenever she plays it!
Yallingup Maze
Heidi Teasdale
Heidi is a lover of life and she brings all the good vibes wherever she goes. A permanent resident of Yallingup for 18 yrs, Heidi and her husband Mark own and run the famous Yallingup Maze. With two teenage boys she’s a dedicated soccer Mum, rain, hail or shine. Heidi’s favourite instrument and playing style is getting the ripples going on her 80cm Fen Wind Gong.
Nurturing with Miranda
Miranda Conrau
Miranda grew up in Busselton surrounded by music, with her family owning the local music shop, Marks Music, where she started helping from the moment she could reach the counter! Music has always been a big part of her life, from piano and trumpet to working in the music industry. Miranda now shares her love of sound with the local community through her sound events and voluntary work with Solaris Cancer Care. She loves creating nurturing spaces to relax, reconnect and feel at ease. Miranda is famous amongst the local sound community for her rainstick — it really has to be experienced! Don’t worry, we’ll make sure she plays it at the fundraiser. 🌧️

Andrew Bland
Andrew loves to surf, and music has always been a huge enjoyment for him. He started young with piano lessons, and even taught himself to play the drums in later years, being a founding member and percussion special guest of local band The Dog House Collective. Andrew also teaches at a local high school, famously stating ‘I reckon I could teach chemistry to anyone’. Andrew enjoys all kinds of sound, he loves the Peter Hess Belly bowl, but when you hear him on the Rav Vast tongue drum you’ll agree it’s his forte. Yes he’ll be playing it at the fundraiser, get there early for the full Rav Vast immersion.
Melia Inner Equilibrium
Melia Brent-White
Melia feels the vibes, and always has. Vibes in a room, vibes in communication, and through sound she can harmonise those vibes. Because we all want good vibes right? Growing up in Yallingup, Melia has a deep love for nature and she enjoys playing her sound instruments to her horses, dog, sheep and chickens. Because they love good vibes too! Melia’s favourite instrument is the Peter Hess Heart bowl, and her Koshi Air Chime which brings fairy-like delight wherever it goes. Many people say it reminds them of being a child again.
