All my life I knew I was sensitive, often much more than the regular person, but as time goes on I realise just how darn sensitive my system is.

Especially to planetary shifts.

Yep, sounds like fun huh!

It might be hard to comprehend, but lemme explain a little.

So I had a bit of an idea about the Moon coming and going as it tended to trigger extremely debilitating migraines from about 2017 onwards, maybe earlier. I got bad migraines from a young age (likely due to severe neck trauma from being ripped off a bolting horse by my neck after a helmet visor caught on a tree branch. And whiplash from that time in France when a truck failed to stop behind me, shortening the car I was driving by about a foot), but they went up several notches and in 2020-2022 they were horrendous. When you think about the moon moving tides and fluid in the body it all starts to make sense.

Then my learning and study brain went offline since about 2018, or a bit earlier 2016, and we've just had 7 years of Uranus in Ta**us. This resulted in a backlog of online courses I'd purchased but wasn't able to concentrate enough to finish, plus some courses I simply missed the deadline on. Like the Saddle Fitting course I did in 2016 where I did all the study, case studies, and then was stumped at pulling it all together to submit and missed the deadline. I also got a Scholarship for Equine Biomechanics I wasn't able to complete either. These things make me a bit sad, but I was able to complete some studies and kept ticking along.

I was able to do BodyTalk sessions, and do them really well, as when the left brain goes offline it does strengthen the right brain intuitive mind. So it was a valuable experience in that aspect, but gosh I felt so sad as I'm a huge nerd and love to study. Plus the weight of unfinished study has been so heavy.

The last few months since Uranus went into Gemini my mind has come back online and I'm able to concentrate and study again. Which is really exciting.

I love learning new things!

It's so nice to have my brain back, so, so nice.

So you might ask, what are you learning now?

I've been working through quite a few YogaRenew courses, getting right into studies of the 8 limbs of yoga, which is complementary to my BodyTalk practice which has a strong foundation in Advaitic Vedanta and the Vedic texts. So I've been following the evolution of this different practices and how they show up in our modern world.

Last year I completed a Yin Yoga certification, and I'm working through the Yoga Teacher Training (which I started in 2020), and also the Pranayama and Breathwork course.

Last night I was doing experiential breath awareness, just gently observing the breath and my body loved it so much.

It's a great way to unwind after the day.

I'm enjoying catching up on these studies while I take a break from working with clients and running events for a few weeks.

I've got plenty of farm chores to catch up on, hand weeding and fence repair, and I've been learning the Hanna Somatics method to use with my horses. I've been using the human methods myself to repattern deep muscles. It's the original somatics practice and very, very slow and mindful. I'm aiming to be back in the saddle as soon I can.

Upcoming events I'm planning are a Margaret River social walk event planned around the Solstice for The Soulpreneur's Garden Network South West, and also a Solstice Sound Bath coming up Sunday 21st 9am, and Monday 22nd 6.30pm Group Sound Bath

I've had a few people messaging me tonight about upcoming Sound Baths. I had one scheduled for tonight but didn't run it as no one was booked.

Please book in advance if you're planning to come to a Sound Bath and tell your friends to come too!

They take us both hours to set up, pack down and do laundry, and a full house is the best house.

Winter Sound Baths are super cosy with warm rugs, and I've got an oil heater so the space warms up really quickly.

If you haven't been for a while, it's time to visit again as we have a dedicated space now and it's such a special place. All my dreams come true.

I'm also taking a bit of a break with seeing clients, so the next BodyTalk availability will be in a few weeks.

I've got lots of hand weeding to do on the property, and with the economic downturn I've noticed less clients and bookings, so I'm stepping back, recharging, reconfiguring and also transforming myself inside and out. After rehabbing my ankles for two years, and building fitness from chronic fatigue state, I walked 14km yesterday so I'm celebrating that win as it's been a long road back.

It's sad that it seems complimentary healthcare is seen as a luxury when the belt tightens, rather than a valuable and essential preventative measure. The system is set up to funnel people towards the Allied healthcare system, which makes it even more difficult to provide independent alternatives and make it worthwhile to operate.

The Sound Baths particularly rely on a certain amount of people to be viable, so please support them if you've been intending to come.

I come across so many people and they say 'I really want to come to a Sound Bath'. It's time to make yourself a priority and come.

Upcoming Sound Baths are Sunday 9am June 21st and Monday 6.30pm June 22nd, and then fortnightly

We’ve been clearing out the old here at the farm
This was a vineyard we pulled in 2020, and we lit it up last weekend. We held off burning it for so long as it’s a big clean up job with the wire. Andrews been turning the piles and making them into big wire balls with the tractor.

Now we need to find a rock bucket and a massive tipper trailer. Let me know if you’ve got any contacts who could help us
