The ‘I’m pregnant!’ messages 😍

These are some of the best messages I get from clients and it’s these messages that are pushing me more towards focusing my practice on supporting fertility, preconception, pregnancy, post-partum and children’s health.

Even though I’m stepping into maternity leave soon myself, I’m looking forward to supporting more families when I return! Throughout my leave I will be continuing further education in the fertility, reproductive, women’s health, and children’s health space, so I can come back ready to support you all. 🩷

What our daycare lunchboxes look like lately for my toddler 😋

🍣 protein - I always aim to get a source of protein in his lunchbox whether that’s tuna in sushi, leftover meat or rissoles, boiled eggs, yogurt or lentil pasta
🍇 fruit - I try to pick a couple of different fruits to add in, this changes depending on what we have in the fridge and what he likes at the time
🥒 veggies - fresh or cooked veggies which he usually doesn’t eat, but I continue to put them in for exposure. He has actually surprised me lately and started eating some, just goes to show that continual exposure is key!!
🧁homemade treat - this will either be a banana bread or muffin of some sort, bliss balls, biscuit, slice, mini quiche or pastry scroll
🥜 nuts, seeds & dried fruit - this is usually just pumpkin seeds, cashews and sometimes sultanas, but it’s a good way to get in some healthy fats! I know not all daycares can have nuts, but most are okay with seeds!
🍿 then I’ll throw some random bits and pieces in there if I need to such as a rice cake with nut butter, popcorn, crackers, etc. or an extra piece of fruit!

Some days he eats a lot and others the lunchbox comes back pretty full. If this is the case, I will offer him the leftovers for afternoon tea to save the wastage.

Movement and exercise has looked a little different for me during this pregnancy, I’ve been forced to slow down a bit and listen to my body (easier said than done for me 😂).

Last pregnancy I did all the way through up until the day I gave birth (haha!). But this time round, although I love and miss it (😢) I was finding it too physically draining and my body wasn’t recovering as well.

I’ve still been moving my body almost everyday when I can, whether that’s a walk, a home workout, a stretching session, a run (not so much anymore) or a session at which I’ve been loving! Movement throughout pregnancy (if you can) is so important for your physical and mental health and for bubs health too! Even if it’s a slow walk or some stretching at home, anything you can manage is going to be beneficial (if you have the okay to do so).

Even if you’re not pregnant, this is your little reminder that moving your body will make you feel so much better 🩷

*I took this photo awhile so the bump has grown a bit since then 😂*

Happy New Year! 🥳

2026 is going to look a little different this year as our little family of 3 becomes 4 in May 😍

What does this mean for consultations? I will still be taking on new clients until around March and will be going on maternity leave mid April (date to be confirmed). I will send out more information to clients as it gets a little closer to the date.

If you’ve been wanting to work with me, now is the time before I go on maternity leave! We will come up with a plan to help support your goals throughout the year, whilst I’m on maternity leave as well.

Although I love seeing a variety of patients and am still open to everyone who needs the support, this year I will be focusing on fertility, reproductive health (men’s and women’s), women’s hormonal conditions, pregnancy, post partum and children’s health. I will be doing further study in these areas to help best support my patients.

I saw a lot of success with my fertility patients in 2025 and can’t wait to continue to support families bringing their little babes into the world in 2026 🥰 plus support everyone else! 😍

Did you know that for most people iron capsules given to you by a Naturopath won’t give you constipation or tummy upsets?

This is because the form of iron we give you is generally highly bioavailable and easily absorbed by the digestive system. It also contains a much lower dose of iron which makes it easier for your body to digest.

Contrary to popular belief, iron at a lower dose and taken every second day, helps increase iron stores dramatically more than iron given at higher dose!

If you’re low in iron (especially during pregnancy and post partum) you don’t need to be afraid of iron capsules, you just need good quality ones that don’t affect your gut! 💩
