🎆 Looking for something local to do this Cracker Night?

Saturday night is going to be magic!

Cracker Night 2026 is almost here - and we're ready to light up the Newstead sky. Gates open from 6:30pm at our Newstead campus, with fireworks from 7pm. Wrap up warm, bring the family, and come enjoy the show.

Hotdogs and burgers will be keeping everyone warm inside the Merrington Centre for $5 each, with refreshments available throughout the night. Entry is by gold coin donation.

Parking is along Hoblers Bridge Road - please drive slowly and keep an eye out for pedestrians on site.

To celebrate all the amazing women who love, care, support and guide others every day. To the mums raising children, grandmothers, step mums, fur baby mums, mums that now look over us and the special people we see as mums — this Sunday is for you too.
Thank you for the endless love, comforting hugs, strength and care you give every day. A mother’s love is truly one of the most beautiful things in the world.

🐣🌸 This week at the centre we are getting into Easter craft! 🌸🐣
From now until Easter, we will be enjoying a range of fun and creative activities including:
🐰 Paper plate bunnies (paint + glue ears/whiskers)
🐰 Cotton ball bunnies (great sensory activity)
🐰 Bunny ear headbands (fun to wear around the centre)
🐰 Simple bunny masks
💎 Easter diamond dots
🐥 Chick crafts
📎 Streamer crafts (using strips you staple together)
There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved, express their creativity, and enjoy the Easter spirit together 💛
We can’t wait to see all the amazing creations! 🐣✨

We’re so proud to share that our clients Nancy and Nicole will be setting up a stall at Evandale Market tomorrow, selling their beautiful handmade art and craft items 🎨✨

Both have put so much heart, effort, and creativity into their work, and this is a big step in building confidence, independence, and doing something they truly love.

Smiles, laughter, and plenty of Christmas cheer filled the centre this week as Santa dropped by to spread some festive magic. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the moment and sharing in the joy of the season
