They've put so much time, creativity and effort into making their creations, and we'd love to see the community come along and support them!

A day at the centre somehow turned into a unpanned puppy day care 🐶😂💕
Safe to say not a lot of work got done once these cuties arrived… but everyone’s mood improved instantly! Best kind of therapy there is 🐾❤️

🎆 Looking for something local to do this Cracker Night?

Saturday night is going to be magic!

Cracker Night 2026 is almost here - and we're ready to light up the Newstead sky. Gates open from 6:30pm at our Newstead campus, with fireworks from 7pm. Wrap up warm, bring the family, and come enjoy the show.

Hotdogs and burgers will be keeping everyone warm inside the Merrington Centre for $5 each, with refreshments available throughout the night. Entry is by gold coin donation.

Parking is along Hoblers Bridge Road - please drive slowly and keep an eye out for pedestrians on site.

To celebrate all the amazing women who love, care, support and guide others every day. To the mums raising children, grandmothers, step mums, fur baby mums, mums that now look over us and the special people we see as mums — this Sunday is for you too.
Thank you for the endless love, comforting hugs, strength and care you give every day. A mother’s love is truly one of the most beautiful things in the world.
