Just checking In - how are you after all the Christmas shebangs ? My house is nearly back to its mostly tidy normal, presents packed away, recycling bins overflowing and the quiet “what now” voice gently nudging me to make a new plan.

In the past I might have got out a wheel of life diagram and gone through various aspects of life. How satisfied am I, what’s important to me, What went well. What one or two things could I change to bring greater joy and satisfaction.

Yet this year it feels like a simple focus of :

Home,
Health,
Holidays,
Work,
Personal development.
Family.

One little item for work has been a small sign to help clients to find my therapy room. A beautiful gift from my son has now be installed on the front side wall. The photo is reflecting the sky and clouds A laser cut plaque. He’s a clever man. What do you think ?

Do you make some new year goals or let the year roll over and take an intuitive responsive approach. I know I’ve done both.

I listened to a Mel Robbin’s talk recently about change and satisfaction and that even changing how we go to work, the order we do things, how our belongings are placed around our home can interrupt the habituation that makes us feel uninspired. By doing a few things differently, and it doesn’t have to be a huge change, brings our awareness to life and gets us noticing the world around us in a new colourful way.

Whatever you decide to do, may you feel inspired, well and alive approaching the end of 2025 and a brand new 2026. I’m enjoying some down time until the 4th January.

When you have Lymphedema it can be overwhelming to understand which supportive techniques Toni’s and when. While Compression garments, lymphatic drainage massage and pneumatic pumps are gold standard first line treatments. Each body responds to its own collection of techniques.
