THESE ARE MIGRAINE SYMPTOMS TOO
Visual static. Word loss mid sentence. Sound sensitivity. Depersonalisation. Tinnitus. Heavy fatigue. Nausea with no digestive cause. Neck stiffness before the pain begins.

These are not separate conditions. For many people they can all be expressions of the same sensitised nervous system that drives migraine. Most get dismissed or misdiagnosed because they do not present as obvious head pain.

Research into migraine as a neurological disorder rather than just a headache condition consistently shows that the prodrome and postdrome phases produce symptoms that extend far beyond the head. The neck stiffness piece is particularly significant because upper cervical dysfunction may be one of the drivers keeping that sensitisation active.

Save this if your symptoms have ever been written off as anxiety, stress, or something unrelated. diagnosemyheadache.com

OZEMPIC FOR MIGRAINES. THE TRUTH.
A new study suggests Ozempic may reduce migraine frequency and the mechanism is genuinely interesting. GLP 1 drugs can lower nervous system sensitivity which may reduce how often attacks occur.

But lowering sensitivity is not the same as finding and treating the source of what is sensitising the system. If upper cervical spine dysfunction is driving that sensitisation, reducing inflammation helps at the margins while the underlying issue remains.

After 15 years treating headache and migraine patients, the pattern I see most often is this: medication manages. Root cause treatment resolves.

Save this if you have been on medication for years without getting your life back. diagnosemyheadache.com

HAIR CLIP MIGRAINE HACK EXPLAINED
Everyone is trying the hair clip hack right now and the science behind it is actually real. But there is a part nobody is talking about.

The supraorbital nerve that sits above your eyebrow is part of the trigeminal system, and that system converges with your upper cervical spine at a junction called the trigeminocervical nucleus. Pressing the nerve can interrupt the signal temporarily. But if the sensitisation may be coming from the top of your neck, the relief will not last.

In 15 years of treating headache and migraine patients, this is one of the most consistent patterns I see. Temporary relief with no lasting change, because the source has not been found.

Save this so you have the full picture. The free 2 minute diagnosis tool is in my bio at diagnosemyheadache.com

WHY YOUR TRIGGER IS NOT THE REAL CAUSE
Every migraine sufferer has one trigger that feels almost unfair.

The trigger itself is rarely the real cause. It is usually the final straw on a nervous system that is already sensitised.

MIGRAINES ARE STEALING YOUR SLEEP
Your migraine is stealing your sleep before it even starts.

Waking up with a migraine already building is not bad luck. It is a sign your nervous system is reacting to something happening overnight, often starting at the top of the neck.

Save this for the next sleepless night.
