Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Honors in any discipline.
• Experience:
o At least 4 years in the supermarket / retail sector.
o At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or equivalent role in recognized superstores (e.g., Shwapno, Meena Bazar, Agora, etc.).
• Age: Minimum 24 years.
• Core Skills: Retail Sales, Superstore Operations, Inventory Management, Store Management, POS/ERP handling.
Key Responsibilities
• Outlet Operations: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable business performance at the Sutrapur outlet.
• Sales & Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets, gross profit goals, and monitor key soperational KPIs (basket size, footfall, margins).
• Inventory & Quality: Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to maintain stock accuracy, monitor product freshness, and minimize wastage, expiry, and shrinkage.
• Store & Merchandising: Maintain high visual merchandising standards, accurate pricing, shelf presentation, cleanliness, and planogram compliance.
• Team Leadership: Lead, roster, and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals and uphold customer service standards.
• ERP & Systems: Handle Purchase Requisitions (PR), Goods Received Notes (GRN), cash reconciliation, and POS systems in line with company SOPs.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health & safety standards, and head office policies.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: BDT 17,000 – 22,000 per month (Consider revising upward based on experience criteria)
• Festival Bonus: 2 (Yearly)
• Salary Review: Yearly
• Other Benefits: Holiday Allowance & performance-based perks.
