His pioneering work on the polysaccharides extracted from *Pleurotus ostreatus* has garnered widespread recognition for its potential in cancer therapy. in Medicinal Chemistry from Rajshahi University, where his research focused on identifying novel anticancer polysaccharides from the fruiting bodies of *Pleurotus ostreatus*. His academic journey also includes a First Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the same institution, where he consistently ranked at the top of his class, achieving First Class First position in both degrees. Throughout his career, Dr. Uddin has published extensively, authoring 39 research articles, book chapters, and conference papers in high-impact journals. His work has made significant contributions to the scientific community, particularly in understanding the anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties of natural compounds. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB), Dr. Uddin is responsible for delivering advanced courses in biochemistry, biotechnology, and molecular biology.
