হেপাটাইটিস বি (B) ও সি (C) ভাইরাস প্রতিরোধের উপায় কি?

* হেপাটাইটিস বি-এর টিকা নিন। তবে সি-এর কোন টিকা নেই।
* নিরাপদ যৌন আচরণ অনুসরণ করুন
* সুঁই, সিরিঞ্জ, রেজার, টুথব্রাশ বা রক্ত লাগতে পারে এমন ব্যক্তিগত জিনিস ভাগাভাগি করবেন না।
* রক্ত নেওয়ার আগে নিশ্চিত করুন যে পরীক্ষিত (স্ক্রিন করা) নিরাপদ রক্ত ব্যবহার করা হচ্ছে।
* ট্যাটু, পিয়ার্সিং বা চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত যন্ত্রপাতি যেন জীবাণুমুক্ত (স্টেরাইল) হয় তা নিশ্চিত করুন।
* গর্ভবতী মায়ের হেপাটাইটিস বি থাকলে নবজাতককে জন্মের পর দ্রুত টিকা এবং প্রয়োজনে অতিরিক্ত প্রতিরোধমূলক চিকিৎসা দিলে সংক্রমণের ঝুঁকি অনেক কমে।

Oral cancer remains a significant public health challenge, with early detection and multidisciplinary management playing a crucial role in improving patient outcomes. A recent seminar on “Combating Oral Cancer: Perspectives, Surgical Advances and Therapeutic innovations” together faculty members from diverse disciplines of Bangladesh Medical University to share current perspectives on the burden of oral cancer, advances in diagnosis and the latest treatment updates.
Through knowledge exchange and collaborative discussion, we aim to enhance awareness, strengthen interdisciplinary engagement and contribute to better prevention and care strategies for oral cancer patients.

মুখগহ্বরের ক্যান্সার (Oral Cancer) এখনও একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জনস্বাস্থ্য সমস্যা হিসেবে রয়ে গেছে। রোগটি প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে শনাক্তকরণ এবং multidisciplinary ব্যবস্থাপনা রোগীর চিকিৎসার ফলাফল উন্নত করতে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
“Combating Oral Cancer: Perspectives, Surgical Advances and Therapeutic Innovations” শীর্ষক সাম্প্রতিক এক সেমিনারে বাংলাদেশ মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রশাসনের শীর্ষ পর্যায়ের নীতিনির্ধারকবৃন্দ, বিভিন্ন বিভাগের শিক্ষক, চিকিৎসক ও রেসিডেন্টবৃন্দ একত্রিত হয়ে মুখগহ্বরের ক্যান্সারের বর্তমান পরিস্থিতি, রোগ নির্ণয়ের অগ্রগতি এবং চিকিৎসা নিয়ে তাঁদের মতামত ও অভিজ্ঞতা বিনিময় করেছেন।
