In human body, there lived a hardworking organ named Pancreas. Pancreas had two very important jobs:
Making to help digest food.
Producing to control sugar levels.
was loyal and worked behind the scenes without much attention. But one day, something changed...
The Trouble Begins
The human started drinking heavily and eating a lot of greasy, fatty foods. Pancreas was pushed harder and harder to release enzymes. But one day, instead of sending those enzymes into the intestine where they belong, they got trapped inside Pancreas itself.
Those enzymes, meant to break down food, started attacking Pancreas’ own tissue. It was like a chef accidentally chopping up their own kitchen!
The Storm
Pancreas screamed out in pain—inflammation began. The body rushed white blood cells to help, but that only made the area more swollen. Soon, there was a burning pain in the upper belly, nausea, and vomiting.
If it was acute pancreatitis, Pancreas could still recover if the human stopped drinking, ate right, and rested.
But if the human kept abusing their body, Pancreas would never fully heal. The inflammation would come back again and again, leaving scars behind. This became pancreatitis—and Pancreas started to fail at its jobs.
Now, the body couldn’t digest food properly, and blood sugar levels went wild. The human became weak, malnourished, and even developed diabetes.
The Message
Pancreas, once invisible, was now screaming for help. Its message was clear:
“Take care of me. Eat smart. Stay away from alcohol. Don’t wait for pain to listen.”
And with the right care, Pancreas could still find peace again.
