đ WINTER SOLSTICE - 21 DECEMBERâī¸
â The Longest Night Of The Year
On December 21, we enter the Winter Solstice -
the longest night of the year. In Yogic philosophy , this moment is a profound energetic turning point. While the outer world rests in darkness, the inner world begins its quiet renewal.
â
Yin energy reaches its deepest stillness, and from this stillness Yang is reborn â gently and invisibly, from within.
â
Ancient yogic masters taught that this day marks the true beginning of the inner year, when life force returns not from the sky, but from the body itself â from the kidneys, the heart, and the deep reservoirs of Energy.
â
The Winter Solstice, life force turns inward to renew itself. This is where true cultivation begins.
â
Winter Solstice Practice:
Classical Hatha Yoga and Meditation is traditionally practiced during to support energy circulation, warm the internal organs, and awaken inner light.
â
You can do just very simple practice heređ
Begin by sitting comfortably in a crossed leg posture with an upright spine with face little upturned closed eyes mild focused between the eye brows, place hands on the thighs palms facing upwards. Focusing on your breath.
Breathe slowly Inhale and Exhale for 3 minutes.
â
Now,
Place both palms over the navel and breathe slowly into the lower abdomen, feeling warmth gather in the Lower abdomen, the primary center of Navel.
â
With each inhalation, guide the energy upward along the spine â from the perineum through the sacrum to the crown.
â
With each exhalation, allow the energy to flow down the front of the body, passing the throat, heart, and solar plexus, returning to the navel.
â
Move slowly and without force, as if riding a soft wave of light.
â
After 9 to 11 rounds, rest your awareness in stillness with the palms facing downwards on the thighs
and feel the quiet rebirth of Yang within Yin.
â
May the Winter Solictice return light to your body, warmth to your heart, and clarity to your pathâĻ
