The 29th Batch of the Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University, successfully completed their Industrial Study Tour to Albion Laboratories Limited, Sitakunda, Chattogram, Bangladesh, on 02 September 2026. 🏭💊
The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control, quality assurance, and industrial operations. It was an excellent opportunity to connect academic knowledge with real-world pharmaceutical practices.

The Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University (DIU), organized a valuable session with BAC Subject Expert in Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Md. Shah Amran, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, at Daffodil International University on August 30, 2026.
The session focused on the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation guidelines, requirements, and procedures, with particular emphasis on ensuring a smooth and effective accreditation process for the Department of Pharmacy.
Professor Dr. Shah Amran shared his valuable insights, expert guidance, and practical recommendations on meeting the relevant BAC standards and strengthening the Department's academic and quality assurance practices.

The Department of Pharmacy sincerely appreciates Professor Dr. Shah Amran for his valuable guidance, insightful recommendations, and continued support toward achieving academic excellence and quality assurance.

The Department also extends its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Dr. Md. Shah Amran on his appointment as a Full-Time Member of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC).

Bridging Academia with Industry | Industrial Visit 2026
On 27 August 2026, the Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University, successfully organized a one-day industrial visit to Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Zirabo, Ashulia Plant, with the enthusiastic participation of faculty members and students of the 29th Batch.

The visit provided students with valuable insights into contemporary pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industry practices, reinforcing the importance of experiential learning in preparing competent and industry-ready future pharmacists.

A particularly proud highlight of the visit was the opportunity to reconnect with our DIU Pharmacy alumni, who are making meaningful contributions to the pharmaceutical industry in diverse professional roles. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to our current students and reflect the strength, growth, and enduring spirit of the DIU Pharmacy community.
