Congratulations to Clinical Associate Professor Chan Yoke Hwee on her appointment as CEO of KK Women's and Children's Hospital, effective 1 May 2026!

Prof Chan brings an impressive track record of transformational leadership - from tripling research output and securing over $55 million in philanthropic funding, to pioneering initiatives like the KKH Maternal and Child Health Research Institute and Singapore's first Genomic Assessment Centre. Her vision for value-driven, patient-centred care will undoubtedly propel KKH to new heights.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Alex Sia for nine years of exceptional leadership at KKH. Under his visionary stewardship, the hospital achieved milestones - from establishing Singapore's first community hub for child development and maternal health, to launching the groundbreaking STORK centre and ChildKind-certified paediatric Burn Centre. His commitment to clinical excellence and employee wellbeing has earned KKH international recognition. Prof Sia will be appointed Senior Advisor, SingHealth, with effect from 1 May 2026.
