QUICK FIX OR LONG TERM FIX?

Lower back pain is extremely common, affecting the majority of people at some point in their lifetime.

If you are suffering from back pain, you might see a lumbar back belt at the pharmacy and be tempted to buy it in order to reduce your pain.

Here are a few reasons why we typically don’t recommend the use of those braces:
1. They make your muscles "lazy" (the muscles that stabilize your spine won’t be working efficiently)
2. They make your spine stiff (because you won’t be able to move as much with the belt)
3. They affect your breathing (there will be less diaphragmatic excursion)
While providing some instant relief, they do not address the underlying cause of the pain.

Instead of using the belt, our therapists employ different methods to treat the cause of your issue, as well as preventing re-injury in the future. These include manual therapy, spinal adjustments and targeted strengthening exercises.

ঘাড় ব্যথা কেন হয়?
আসুন জেনে নেই ঘাড় ব্যথার কয়েকটি কারণ:
১. মোবাইল হাতে নিয়ে ঝুকে ঝুকে মোবাইল ব্যবহার করা এবং একই কানে কথা বলা।
২. অফিসে অথবা ঘরে কম্পিউটার ডেক্সটপে বসে টাইপিং করা।
৩. ঘরে বসে নিজে নিজে অথবা সেলুন ঘরে গিয়ে ঘাড় ফুটানো।
৪. মাথায় অতিরিক্ত পরিমাণে ওজন নেয়া ইত্যাদি ইত্যাদি।
