In 2024, Bangladesh’s nationwide HPV vaccination campaign reached 5.6 million girls aged 10–14 — representing 93% of the eligible population.​

HPV vaccination helps protect against the types of HPV responsible for most cervical cancers, making it one of the most important tools available for cervical cancer prevention.​

For millions of young girls in Bangladesh, that protection has already begun.​

It is a powerful reminder that progress against cancer is not only about how we treat it. It is also about what we can prevent.​
