Cough is one of the most common symptoms seen in daily practice. While most cases are due to simple viral infections or allergies, persistent or severe cough may indicate an underlying serious condition.
đ Common causes include:
âĸ Cold & viral infections
âĸ Allergy
âĸ Asthma
âĸ Smoking & GERD
âĸ Lung infections
đ What you can do:
â Drink warm fluids
â Take adequate rest
â Avoid cold drinks, dust & smoke
â Take steam inhalation regularly
â Maintain proper hygiene
â ī¸ When to seek medical advice:
âĸ Cough lasting more than 1 week
âĸ High fever
âĸ Blood in sputum
âĸ Chest pain or breathing difficulty
âĸ Unexplained weight loss or night sweats
đĢ Important Message:
NO ANTIBIOTICS without a registered doctorâs prescription
Unnecessary antibiotic use can be harmful and increase resistance.
đ§đŠ In our country, always consider screening for tuberculosis in chronic cough.
