Today, the Institute of Development Affairs IDEA hosted a “Myth Busting Session and Community Dialogue” on safe, legal, and informed migration. 🎙ī¸âœˆī¸

The session focused on addressing common misinformation regarding education migration processes, agent verification, fraud prevention, study and work opportunities abroad, financial preparation, and the importance of using trusted and verified sources.

Through an engaging community dialogue, young participants shared their questions, experiences, concerns, and common misconceptions, highlighting the importance of “Know Before You Go.” ☝ī¸

Together, we can promote accurate information, safer choices, and responsible migration decisions for a brighter future. 🌍✨

Knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is shared. As part of our project activities on Safe, Legal and Informed Student Migration, our 40 Project Ambassadors took the initiative to share their learning with people around them, friends, classmates, family members, and their communities.

Through their own creative approaches, they are spreading awareness of making informed migration decisions, verifying information, avoiding fraud and misinformation, understanding legal pathways, and preparing responsibly for studying abroad. 📚✈ī¸

Their efforts show that meaningful change can begin with just one informed person and grow through many voices.💙

NSDA Infrastructure Readiness Assessment Visit to IDEA

We were pleased to welcome Md. Forhad Hossain, Assistant Director, National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), at IDEA today, 22 September 2026, for an assessment of the infrastructure readiness of our five proposed applied skills:

During the visit, Mr. Forhad Hossain assessed the facilities and expressed his satisfaction with the overall readiness, while sharing valuable recommendations for further improvement.
