CRY - Organisation Official Statement Condemning the Bombing of Mrauk-U General Hospital

Release date | December 12-2025

On December 10, International Human Rights Day, the Myanmar military junta launched a brutal airstrike on Mrauk-U General Hospital in Rakhine State, reportedly killing over 30 civilians and injuring more than 60 others. Targeting a hospital-an institution meant to save lives-is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and a direct attack on human dignity.

Congratulations to our Sister, Mrs Samira Akter for his 1st time Blood O positive donation.
Blood donation is a voluntary act allowing one's blood to be drawn out of the body. Most of the time, people donate blood out of charity.

Donating blood is a relatively new medical treatment in which it does not exist in the era of the Prophet. Thus, there is no verse in Qur’an or Hadith saying blood donation as halal or haram. However, analyzing the purpose of blood donating to save one's life; it is permissible. Besides saving one's life, donating blood also has tremendous benefits you can ever think of.

❤️‍🩹Every blood donation is a gift of hope. It can mean the difference between life and death for patients in need of transfusions.

🌍 But access isn’t equal: Many countries struggle with chronic shortages of safe blood, especially for children and mothers.

🏥 Since blood cannot be stored indefinitely, there is a continuous need for regular, voluntary, unpaid donations.

💡 Want to donate blood but not sure if you’re eligible? Here’s what you need to know!

Most healthy adults can give blood:

✅ You should be between 18–65 years old.
✅ You should weigh at least 50 kg.
✅ You must feel well and not be sick on donation day.

😮‍💨 Millions of people live with asthma and yet, many of them don’t know it. It is one of the most common conditions among children. Unfortunately, it is also unknown, underdiagnosed and undertreated.

🫁 Asthma is a chronic condition and affects the airways in our lungs. People who have asthma have particularly sensitive airways and they can become narrowed from time to time.

When the airways become narrow, symptoms start:

❤️‍🩹Cough
❤️‍🩹Difficulty breathing
❤️‍🩹Wheezing

The symptoms are not there all the time, they come and go, but are often worse at night or during exercise.

Asthma can be triggered by many different things, for example:

🔹 Cigarette smoke
🔹 Air pollution
🔹 Dust
🔹 Animal fur
🔹 Respiratory infections
🔹 Grass pollen

Even though there is no cure for asthma, for children, the condition often gets better as they get older. It’s important to try to avoid the triggers, but it’s not always possible.
