🏆⚽ History was made on the pitch last week! We’re incredibly proud that the Rovers Girls, sponsored by Innovad Group, won the prestigious Brendan Keogh Youth League Cup.

This cup is one of the top youth tournaments in Northern Ireland. Making the achievement even more impressive: it was their first major final, as the team only made their debut last season.

In the words of their coach, Dana Simpson, poultry vet at St David’s: “It was a fantastic moment. The girls worked so hard all season and won with grace, dignity, and true team spirit.”

🐷 Mycotoxins aren’t just a chick issue, they're a hidden danger for piglets too. Through placental and milk transfer, toxins consumed by sows can reach piglets even before and just after birth, creating early-life exposure with serious consequences:

🔹 Placental transfer: impaired foetal growth, developmental anomalies, endocrine disruption, immunosuppression
🔹 Milk transfer: reduced weight gain, impaired gut integrity, increased vulnerability to infections, hormonal imbalance

Young piglets are especially vulnerable, as their ability to metabolize toxins is limited, leading to long-term effects on growth, immunity, and overall performance.
