What an incredible experience at SAWC 2026!

Throughout the congress, we were immersed in the latest insights in wound care; from sessions on wound slough and debridement (a topic closely aligned with what the Yarrow woundbrush addresses) to an inspiring opening keynote by an astronaut, reminding us what it means to push boundaries and think beyond limits.

Beyond the scientific programme, SAWC was also about connecting. Meeting passionate clinicians, innovators, and companies all working toward better wound care. Some truly impressive booths and innovations stood out, great to see how much progress is being made in the field.
And of course, it wasn’t all business. After the congress, we had the chance to explore and experience a bit of the American lifestyle.

A big thank you to Bent von Eitzen who took us along to discover the best of local culture and activities, we truly appreciated it.

An exciting and intense trip to the US for Yarrow.
We started in New York, where we gathered valuable endorsements for the Yarrow woundbrush and connected with key stakeholders in wound care.

Next stop: Philadelphia, where we met with distributors to further shape our go-to-market strategy.

We then visited a warehouse in Delaware, taking important steps in preparing our logistics and distribution for the US launch.
And of course in between meetings, we also took the time to (literally) get a taste of American culture.

Now back home with new insights, strong connections, and even more momentum to bring the Yarrow woundbrush to the US market.

A big step forward: we picked up the first 10 Yarrow woundbrush devices and all brush head models at Alleva Medical Ltd.

From there, we headed straight to New York, where we’re taking the first steps toward our US launch:

collecting early endorsements

meeting with distributors

visiting warehouses to prepare for logistics and distribution

Seeing the Yarrow woundbrush move from production into real-world conversations and partnerships is a defining moment in our journey.

The path to the US market is fully underway.

A major milestone for Yarrow: the first packaging prototypes of the Yarrow woundbrush are here and at the same time, the first units are officially rolling off the production line.
Seeing the final packaging take shape and holding the first production pieces in our hands makes this journey incredibly tangible. What started as sketches, concepts, and early prototypes has now evolved into an (almost) market-ready product.

Behind every detail, from the silicone brush to the packaging design, lies months of testing, refining, and collaboration.

We’re starting 2026 exactly how we ended last year: with full focus on production and final preparations for the US market launch of the Yarrow Wound Brush.

What started just two years ago as an early prototype has now entered full production and is rapidly approaching market readiness.
Behind the scenes, our teams and partners are working intensively to finalise manufacturing, logistics, and launch preparations, bringing us closer than ever to introducing the Yarrow Wound Brush to clinicians in the United States.

A new milestone for the Yarrow Wound Brush.

We received and tested the first-out-of-tool silicone brush samples, the very first pieces produced with our final moulds. The results look very promising, and we’ve already implemented the final refinements to move one step closer to full-scale production.

What an incredible two days in Düsseldorf at MEDICA 2025, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for medical technology.
We had the opportunity to connect with many distributors, partners, and healthcare professionals from across the globe and the interest in the Yarrow Wound Brush was overwhelming.

Our mission to make wound cleansing more effective clearly resonates internationally, and we’re thrilled to see the excitement it’s generating.
