In intensive care, understanding what's happening in the lungs and the cardiovascular system is essential to interpreting complex clinical situations and making informed decisions at the bedside.

But how do we translate physiological principles into clinical practice?

The ISICEM 28th Postgraduate Refresher Course brings together key topics in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, from respiratory mechanics to hemodynamics and fluid responsiveness, and helps apply them to clinical management, including mechanical ventilation and ECMO.
