AFTER 3 MONTHS, WE’RE FINALLY BACK 👀💙

The past three months have been a little different around here.

We closed our doors, packed up our things, said goodbye to our old space and spent these past weeks building what comes next for WOMADE.

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes — moving, renovating, planning, imagining… and, honestly, a little bit of chaos too. 👀

But we’re finally getting ready to welcome you into our new home.

Meet our WOMADE of the month: Janneke Kielman ☀️

Legal counsel by day, curious mind 24/7.

With a background in EU and international law, she now works remotely for the tech company 8vance, focusing on privacy rules and the AI Act — where every challenge feels like solving a puzzle and connecting the dots.

Driven by a strong sense of justice, Janneke is especially interested in how international policies and legal systems shape the world we live in today, particularly around trade, sustainability and corporate accountability.

Since arriving in Brussels 14 months ago, and joining WOMADE 4 months ago, she’s found a community she describes as open, social and refreshing — especially as her first experience in a women-focused environment within tech.

Curious, reliable, practical — and always with at least 2 coffees a day ☕️

This summer, we're moving into ame studio (yes, that's the name reveal 🤭👀) — a 900m² ecosystem designed to inspire, connect, and create.
