Chronic wounds affect up to 14.9 million people in Europe, and podiatrist Natalia sees this reality every day.

Many of her patients live with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), which causes poor blood flow and a high risk of wounds that struggle to heal. Treating them takes close teamwork between podiatrists, vascular specialists and tissue viability experts.

Now Natalia is raising awareness of the challenges of chronic wound care and the vital role medtech plays in supporting patients and healthcare professionals alike.
