💡 Did you know that Forever has nearly 3,000 goats that tend to aloe plantations in the Dominican Republic year-round? Each year, Forever grows 40 million plants on average, producing Aloe Barbadensis Miller, the most valuable, nutritious, variety of aloe. Aloe is collected by hand — and protected by goats — before being shipped to Forever’s production facility.
🐐 Our lovely gardeners, goats eat unwanted weeds that could damage aloe whilst providing natural fertilizer. A single goat can eat up to 2 kilograms of grass a day and can produce up to 1 ton of manure annually. This translates into over 2.5 million natural fertilizers annually for Forever Aloe Vera plants!
