🐴 Hot weather? Don't forget your horse's electrolytes
Sweating is healthy, but it costs your horse fluids and electrolytes. Keep fresh water available and make sure it drinks well after exercise. Won't drink? A pinch of salt on the tongue can help.

Horses can't store electrolytes, so give them after exercise, not before — for a faster recovery.

Did you know a mash isn't just a tasty treat, but also helps get extra fluids into your horse? A mash is soaked in water — and that's exactly what makes it perfect for warm days. Extra hydration, extra flavour, extra happy horse.

How to make the perfect mash:
1️⃣ Weigh out the desired amount of mash
2️⃣ Add it to the feed bin or bucket and slowly pour in lukewarm water
3️⃣ Let it soak according to the instructions until it reaches a smooth, mushy texture
4️⃣ Stir well for an even mix
5️⃣ Serve it up! 🥣
